Submission Guidelines Mysteries Online is looking for the best of today's short mystery fiction. It accepts a variety of styles, ranging from cozy to noir and anything in between. Work must be original by the author. Please limit length to less than 4,000 words. No sex or gratuitous violence, please. All accepted stories remain the property of their author.We regret we cannot pay for stories. However, we are not being paid for our effort either. To submit a story for consideration, please cut and paste your story as a text-only document in an e-mail submission and send to: submissions. Do not send your manuscript as an attachment.
